I have been using AIJ for a few days but the following has only occurred today. After opening the main program, if I click on the DP button the DP CC page is all frozen and I cannot enter anything, e.g. my target in the SIMBAD object box. However if instead of pushing DP I click the divider symbol next to it I get a fully working DPCC page.
To cure this I have tried deleting all the AIJ directories and files and downloaded a fresh installation v 3.2.1 but the problem persists. Strangely the entries I had previously made in the DP CC page are still there. I have also done a computer restart. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Dave |
In desperation I have even done a system restore still to find the problem there!!!

The DDCC settings can be extracted from FITS headers or entered manually. If being extracted from headers, the corresponding controls are greyed out in DPCC. If they are not extracted from FITS headers, then you should be able to set them manually. This DPCC
behavior is controlled on the DP panel using "Target Coordinate Source" and "Observatory Location Source" For full manual control, select "Coordinate Converter manual entry" for both settings as shown below:
Does that resolve the issue you are seeing. If not, post screen grabs of your DP and DPCC panels. Karen On 10/18/2018 6:48 AM, dwgsmith [via AstroImageJ] wrote:
