For info .... the photometry function in Maxim Dl allows tracking of a moving target. Comp stars are identified once in the first image; the moving object is identified in the first and last images of the set. Presumably the position of the moving object in all other images is then just interpolated between these extremes. It just seems to work and does not appear to be thrown by close encounters with field stars.
