This problem should be fixed after installing the appropriate v5.4.1.00 installation package for your hardware from the UofL website:
https://www.astro.louisville.edu/software/astroimagej/installation_packages

Note: Using the update feature within AIJ will not resolve the problem. You must perform a new installation using the appropriate dmg file from the install package website. After the new install is performed, you can again use the update feature for future updates.

Can you please let us know if you have for sure reinstalled the v5.4.1.00 new installation package, rather than installing an older package and then updating? We think that you have installed 5.4.1 from scratch, but want to make sure.
