Magnitudes on AstroImageJ

I am a high school student and am trying to find the magnitude of a star on AstroImageJ. I followed the manual on the website and was able to reach the step prior to inputting the locator star’s magnitude. I am using a Mac laptop, and the manual says once I click the locator star, a box should pop up asking for its apparent magnitude value (Step 12). I was not able to get neither that box nor the “Multi-Plot Reference Star Settings” window to pop up. I am unsure what to do after making a circle around both the locator star and target star. Please let me know if anyone has been able to pass that step! Thank you.
