Hi Kylie,

Windows 10 locked down the "Programs Files" folder and made it write protected. AIJ needs to be able to write the AstroImageJ.cfg file to the installation directory when you change the memory setting. Apparently the current AIJ installation directory is write protected. It may be easier to install AIJ into a write-enabled directory, such as the Documents folder.

Updating the program worked! However, it did bring up another issue; it seems like I'm no longer able to open as many images at once as I used to be able to because of the memory limit. I tried increasing the memory limit using the edit>options>memory&threads function (while running AIJ as an administrator) but got an error message including the phrase "AstroImageJ.cfg not found." I'm not sure what this means exactly or how to fix it?
Thank you for all your help so far!
