Could you share more about your set up. A screen shot of the alignment set-up panel, and whether or not you are using a virtual stack, along with the version of AIJ you are running, and version of OS would be helpful. Also, make sure the apertures you are using for alignment are large enough that they don't lose the intended star from image to image.
