Alignment Issues

Hi everyone! I'm currently having an issue with the alignment using apertures function; I haven't used AIJ in a while, and this time around the alignment worked with the first couple of image sequences I aligned, but since then every time I try to align I run into the same issue: after placing the apertures, I hit "enter" but the alignment doesn't actually happen. The alignment help window that describes all the commands updates so that the only functions it describes are the ones you use to move the image/zoom in or out, but no aligned stack is created. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue/knows how to fix it? Thank you so much for your time!
