Hi all,
a friend of mine, Roberto Zambelli, who has not registered to this forum, asked to me for help with this strange problem. I was not able to help him and therefore I attach here his message hoping someone could help him.

Hi all,
I am writing to ask for your help since AIJ abruptly started behaving "odd" after a long period of regular service in my Windows10 pc desktop with KELT and TESS transits.
Into detail, I import the sequence from File > Import
>Image Sequence ... and get the following error:
Unable to open FITS file C:\Users\Roberto\Desktop\TIC\TIC 277447970.01 (TOI 1361.01) 18.11.2020\raw\Autosave Image -0001.fit: Error skipping padding after image
In the end, AIJ is able to import part of the sequence but when I click START in the CCD Data Processor window, I get a pop up showing the following error
Unable to open FITS file C:/Users/Roberto/Desktop/TIC 277447970.01 raw/mbias.fits: IO error:java.io:IOException:invalid FITS Header
Finally, I perform multi-aperture photometry and the stars in
the images in the display "move" back and forth horizzontally
while passing from an image to the next one.
I have firstly checked all the AIJ settings and they look normal. I have processed the same images with a different Windows10 pc and AIJ performed very well giving in the end a fine fit model. I have checked the AIJ settings of the two pc and they look the same. I have shared the same images with a friend of mine Riccardo Papini who is reading this forum too. He was able to process all the images and do photometry without getting any error. He runs AIJ under Linux OS Ubuntu 20.04. I have even uninstalled AIJ and installed it again with a new download file, but got the same results.
By now, I ran out of ideas. Your help will be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you,
Roberto
