Updating AstroImageJ

I went through the update process for AstroImageJ, but after it completed (without error) my screen says it is still on version 3.4.0.25.

3.4.0.25 is the end of thee line for AIJ v3. To move to AIJ v5, you'll need to install the new package for your OS from the AIJ website download page.

Thanks.  Should I uninstall the old version before installing the new version?
