Mac doesn't show image, just text

I am trying to open a FITS image into ImageJ and instead of an image, I am only getting text. HELP!

Are you using ImageJ or AstroImageJ? If AstroImageJ, which version are
you running?

In either case, can you verify that the image will open in SAO DS9?
