Running AIJ 5.0.3.02, I noticed that I am unable to view/edit the FITS header of a FITS cube. Attempting so results in an error message "no valid FITS header". This was not an issue in older AIJ 3.4.x versions.
Another thing I noticed is that when saving a stack of images into an AVI, although the form accepts a float value as a frame rate (e.g. 8.5 fps), the actual frame rate of the generated video has been rounded to an integer value (9 fps). I love to use AIJ to create little movie clips out of short transients and intend to generate AVI files that play in real time. Would it be possible to allow for float frame rate values? My current work-around is to adjust the frame rate in Virtual Dub, but perhaps AIJ's AVI export feature could be easily tweaked.
Thanks for all the great work!
