Hi everybody,

Could AIJ be used to analyse a video of Jupiter satellites mutual occultation or eclipse in order to establish the light curve ?

thank you.

Hi Robert,

according to my experience, AIJ can't do photometry on a video but only on single fits images.

You could split the video in a series of images with other software and then do photometry according to Karen's instruction for moving object:

I have no experience to estimate the SNR of the Jupiter satellites using single frames of a video. May be you should sum up groups of frames to obtain a suitable SNR.
