AstroImageJ version 3.2.0 has been released. Current users should upgrade using AstroImageJ_Toolbar->Help->Update AstroImageJ to install the new version. For new users, fresh install packages are available at
http://www.astro.louisville.edu/software/astroimagej/index.html.

The main new feature is support for an instance of a local astrometry.net server for Windows users which provides a reliable and fast connection for plate solving. The server is called ansvr and was developed by Andy Galasso. Ansvr can be installed by downloading the package from
http://adgsoftware.com/ansvr/

Follow the installation directions at that website.
In the AIJ astrometry setup panel, select "Use Custom Server" and accept the default values, if the defaults were selected during the installation of ansvr. No user key is required.

A special thanks to Karsten Schindler for suggesting that AIJ support ansvr and for spending time to test the interface. Thanks Karsten!
