Appending table column file naming issue

The behavior of the File->Append table from file as new columns... feature on AIJ's Multi-plot Main screen seems to have changed since the last time I used it. A new merged file is not created with the user entered name for the combined table, but rather AIJ modifies the "original file" to be the merged table and therefore the user entered name for the new file seems to be irrelevant. Running the latest AIJ Daily Build 5.3.4.02.
